Undercover 99SS « relief » groupie stripe shirt

Extract from Undercover Book by Jun takahashi about 1999 S/S Relief collection

« The japanese word for the fading color on the knees and hems of a well-worn pair of jeans is atari. The collection features the atari, which appear in places where constant tension causes fabric to wear thin, as a design. The ´sculptural relief’ effect creates details such as buttons, pockets, and belt loops as well as structural components such as flat felled seams, back lining, and foldovers. Every element is expressed not as it truly is, but with the atari. »

Size M

Length: 80cm
Width: 55cm
Shoulders: 51cm
Sleeves: 55cm

Great condition, except for one missing button (second one from the top). Not very important because you’ll have a better look with two buttons opened (otherwise easy to fix).

Cheers
