Jun Takahashi presented his collection using pairs of identical twins, which was really nice. Each pair had matching hairstyles and wore slightly different versions of the same outfit—one sister dressed straightforward, and the other had a more playful take, like a distorted reflection in a funhouse mirror.

Takahashi applied this idea to various fashion staples such as sailor tees, khakis, white shirts, black pants, French trenches with Kelly bags, and American blue jeans with baseball shirts.

The Undercover collection, despite its playful appearance always has a deeper meaning. This season, Takahashi, known for his pacifist views, explored the root causes of current global conflicts. The soundtrack featured John Lennon and the Plastic Ono Band expressing discontent with organized religion, while the twins gathered for the finale wearing T-shirts with messages like “Violence invites violence,” “Silly to kill,” and “Who wants to be a soldier.”
